We are Hoppin!

Welcome to the Journey Blog Hop featuring Fun Stampers Journey products & inspiration! We used
only the items that came in our new Customized Blooming Grand Starter Kit!  This customizable  Kit, includes everything you need to host your first Make It Party with the flexibility to show off your personal crafting style.

If you arrived from Ruth Cooper's blog - you're on the right track! If not just keep hopping to see the wonderful artwork!

I Customized my Blooming Grand Starter Kit with the Birthday Sketch and the Greet & Shout stamp sets as well as the Butterfly Prints Bundle and 3 ink pads!  The starter kit came with tons of fantastic products that allowed me to begin creating awesome cards and projects right away!

I have created a card using the Birthday Sketch and the Happy Birthday sentiment from Greet & Shout set.  I used a few color pencils from my personal stash to color the balloons and added Journey Glaze to make them shine, then fussy cut them out and popped them up using Journey Foam Squares onto Whipped Cream Cardstock that I lightly sponged with Cool Pool ink. Finished it off with a wrap of Journey Twine with a simple bow!

Don't forget to add a little "something" to the inside of the card too!

The goodie bag is made out of Watermelon Fusion Cardstock and then stamped with Watermelon Fusion ink to give a tone-on-tone effect then die cut a cute butterfly so that the recipient can see the yummy treats! I then stamped two other butterfly's using Watermelon Fusion ink and added Journey Glaze and sprinkled with Journey Sparkle Dust.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog today! Please head on over to Susan Berg's blog to see what she has to share - She's the beginning of our Blog Hop!

  2. I love your projects! And how you made the "sky" background for the balloons -- not sure I would have thought of that -- one of those "duh" moments LOL! Thanks for being part of the Hop. :D
