An Apple A Day.....

An apple a day....well, you know the rest.  I was asked by a friend to make a donation for a teacher appreciation swag bag for a local elementary school.  I was more than pleased to assist! I dug through my stash and found the Stamps of Life Apple Stamp & Die set.  I cut the apple pieces from Stampin Up! cardstock (Real Red, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Pear Pizazz) and created the pouch with cardstock from my stash.  I added a tea bag and a cute bookmark made with the NEW Rooted In Nature stamp set and coordinating DSP from Stampin Up! (2018 Annual Catalog - available June 1, 2018) along with one of the NEW In Colors - Grapefruit Grove - don't you love how this color pops with the returning colors Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss?

Get Well Soon Treat Pack

Several of family and friends have been sick with cold/flu recently and I thought what can I do to help make them feel a little better?  So I decided to dig in my stash and found I had several of the pint size ice cream containers that would make a cute get well treat pack.  I covered them in pretty paper and filled them with a bit of essentials:  tissue, hand sanitizer, chamomile tea, a packet of honey and a few cough drops.  The stamp set is Lawn Fawn - Get Well Soon.  I'm making a few extra to keep at the ready! 😷

Holiday Crafting Underway!!

I've taken a week to get my crafting organized....and I'm still not done!!  I've got a couple of events coming up the next few months and one I'm super excited for, is the craft fair at a local high school in Peoria AZ (Liberty HS).    I'm also embarking on a new venture - I'm now a designer for Chalk Couture  (yourchalkchick.com).  I'm so excited about this company - It's a young start up company (launched summer of 2017) and I've got super cute projects and videos to post - so stay tuned!

Here are a couple of projects I've complete for the holiday craft fair - these cute treats usually go quick - and even though we're in Arizona everyone loves Snowman Soup (hot coco) during the holidays.

Every year I make the Hand Santa-tizers for coworkers - who doesn't need a little sanitizer during cold season?

Let Them Eat Cake!

When I saw that Just Add Ink #383 blog challenge was about cake I had heart palpitations!  I've been wanting to create a cake shaker card with The Stamps of Life Cake2Stamp set.  It took a bit of trial and error but I got it done!  Isn't this just the cutest!!??  The Designer Paper is from It's My Party paper stack (retired) with Sprinkles Embellishments (retired),
both from Stampin Up!  The little cupcakes are actually nail design pieces I picked up from a beauty supply - of course to use in shaker cards and not on my nails.

Halloween Goodies for my Coworkers

So I got a wild hair and decided my coworkers needed to get a few Halloween treats.  The pencil idea I found on Pinterest years ago and they are a quick and easy project.  The treat pouch is super easy and uses the scalloped tag topper punch from Stampin Up!  The card is my favorite of the three!  Using the eclipse technique I die cut the BOO after I stamped the the card front.  Add a bit of washi and a splash of silver silk (from Fun Stampers Journey) and we have a super cute card.  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Chick!

An extra day of crafting...yes, please!  Although I'm not feeling so good today a little crafting always helps.  As I was checking out a few blog challenges this morning the Global Design Project #GDP110  aught my eye and the creative juices started to take over.  I pulled out 3 stamp sets and a super cute piece of paper from Authentique Homestead 6x6 paper pad.  The Stampin Up! stamps are Wood Words, Better Together and Hey, Chick. The base color is Soft Sky with a pop of Real Red - Enjoy.
